Particularly in the wine-making industry, bottles are returned to storage after being filled and only finished at a later date.



In the course of such storage, dust, dirt and impurities accumulate on the surface of the bottle. These must be removed before the bottle can be finished and packed; only absolutely clean and dry bottles can be sent for labelling.

In the light of this fact, GAI have developed a separate machine series specifically for this purpose. Series 5000 cleans the bottle sides, bottom and cork top with water and brushes. The bottles are then blow-dried in warm air.

The bottles must be absolutely dry, especially for affixing self-adhesive labels. Thanks to an additional air heater known as the anti-condensation unit, even bottles of sparkling wine which have been filled at 0-4 °C can be delivered to the labelling machine without condensation for one or two minutes so that they can be reliably labelled.
