:bottling
Bottling is one of the most important factors in today's wine and beverages industry. This is where the finished product is released for marketing and is generally considered a regal discipline: the point at which beverage meets bottle.
One essential requirement is to treat the product to be bottled as gently as possible without changing it in any way and without incurring any losses. The cost of mechanical solutions must also remain reasonable in relation to their use.
Physical processes, such as pressure surges due to handling and filtration, thermal processes, absorption of air, vacuuming and many others must also be taken into account. To meet with all these requirements, GAI have developed a whole series of bottling and sealing machines.
The introductory class comprises machines exclusively for combined bottling and sealing. The basic price already includes CO2 overlay and fill height correction, as well as a vacuum at the cork closure. Natural cork, crown cork and screw caps can be used for the sealer.
In this series, the container to be filled is additionally vacuumed and subsequently rinsed with inert gas before actually being filled with product sensitive to oxygen (such as wines). A high-vacuum pump permits substitution of up to 90% of the atmosphere in the container.
Series 02 provides the user with the choice between two filling and two sealing versions, normally natural cork and a screw cap. Here too, CO2 overlay and fill height correction, as well as a vacuum at the cork closure are already included in the basic price.
For this series, the machines of Series 02 additionally include vacuuming and inert gas rinsing of the container before it is actually filled. The aim is to achieve demonstrably lower oxygen levels for the product to be filled. In combination with the CO2 overlay and fill height correction options which are also included here, as well as a vacuum at the cork closure, these machines ensure extremely low oxygen levels in the product and headroom.
A rinser is connected upstream of the filler and sealer combination in this series of machines. The rinser can be produced as single or two-channel version (liquid and gas). Here too, CO2 overlay and fill height correction, as well as a vacuum at the cork closure are included in the basic price.
All options "cast in one" - this "superblock" comprises the following elements:
- Rinser (single or two-channel)
- Preliminary evacuation and inert gas rinsing of the containers
- Filling under low vacuum or gravimetrically
- CO2 overlay and fill height correction, as well as vacuum at the cork closure
- Sealing, either with natural cork, crown cork or screw closure
