:cellaring technology

According to various definitions, cellaring technology encompasses all work steps from receipt of the grapes to the finished, packed bottle.

Clemens is in a position to plan, procure, install and commission all the machinery and plant required for this purpose. Our cellaring department, however, focuses on bottling and finishing in the capacity range from 1,000 to 10,000 bottles per hour. For over 30 years, we have been cooperating with the Italian machine manufacturer GAI specializing in the engineering design and manufacture of such machines. Our cooperation began with the Fiamat developed by Bernard Clemens, which has proved its value over a thousand times since then. Increasingly stringent requirements in respect of analysis, hygiene and quality of the wine have made continuous further development of the materials and technology essential right up to the present day. Consumers' desire for more and more individuality makes it necessary to design open systems ready to meet tomorrow's demands.

In keeping with this trend, our answers to various tasks are outlined on the following pages. We hope you have fun "surfing" through our cellaring technology!
